HANG ON TO THE WORDS OF JESUS

They could find no way to accomplish their purpose because all the people were hanging on his words. (Luke 19:48)

Hang on the Words of Jesus. This is the Lord's big message to you today as written in the gospel of Luke. By engaging in trade, you will be encountering people, mostly competitors, whose objective is to destroy you so that they can put you "out of the game" so to speak. Hang on the word of the Lord and He will be the one who will work mightily in you to accomplish each and every purpose He wants you to undertake in accordance with the power of His Word. If God is with you, who can stand against you?

I have encountered a business client who has given me a run around for the last couple of days. This begun more than a month ago when they issued a payment with a wrong payee. It took them weeks to replace the wrong check and after they did, it was immediately deposited to the bank. Unfortunately, the check "bounced". The client requested not to have the check redeposited but instead promised to replace it by cash the following day. Again, the client failed to show up. Another day passed with another promise to make good their word but just the same, they again have another reason of not showing up. It is really frustrating and at times nerve wracking to hang on to the words of people who are not sincere in making good their words.

Lord, your words have power and will never return to you void. Each day, you have give me the grace to delight upon your word, believing in faith that every word you say as written in the scriptures are meant to guide me in my everyday journey. These words of yours, I hang on so that I will always be under your love and protection.

Thank you so much for your words that continue to shape me in order to become the best person you wanted me to be. You have changed my character in terms of being faithful to whatever I say most especially when it comes to my commitment in paying our obligations. You made it all possible for me to always pay on time.

Please forgive me for the times I have trusted and hang on to the words of others only to be disappointed. Such sad experiences have brought me to the truth and realization that only your words are to be trusted which I can always rely, depend, and hang on.

I pray for all your people who got used to promising something, yet not fulfilling what they have said. May they see the light of its consequences bringing frustration and disappointments to those who depended on their word, and resolve to make true with their words and promises.

All these I humbly ask and pray in Jesus Name. Amen.

Mission

Thus says the Lord: Write all the words I have spoken to you in a book. - Jeremiah 30:2

Write down the vision clearly so that one can read it readily. For the vision still has its time, presses on to fulfillment, and will not disappoint; if it delays, wait for it, it will surely come, it will not be late. - Habakkuk 2:2-3

Attend to the reading, exhortation, and teaching. Do not neglect the gift you have, which was conferred on you through the prophetic word with the imposition of hands. - 1 Timothy 4:13-14

Let this be written for the generation to come, and let His future creatures praise the Lord. - Psalm 102:19

And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true, and the Lord, the God of prophetic spirits, sent his angel to show his servants what must happen soon.” “Behold, I am coming soon.” Blessed is the one who keeps the prophetic message of this book. - Revelation 22:6-7

Vision

From of old, the prophets who were before you and me prophesied war, woe, and pestilence against many lands and mighty kingdoms. But the prophet who prophesies peace is recognized as truly sent by the Lord only when his prophetic prediction is fulfilled. - Jeremiah 28:8-9

Then the voice which I had heard from heaven spoke to me again, saying, "Go, take the scroll which is open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land."

So I went to the angel and told him to give me the little scroll; and he said to me, "Take it and eat; it will be bitter to your stomach, but sweet as honey in your mouth."

And I took the little scroll from the hand of the angel and ate it; it was sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it my stomach was made bitter.

And I was told, "You must again prophesy about many peoples and nations and tongues and kings." - Revelation 10: 8 - 11

Prophecy of "The Cross"

These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands which stand before the Lord of the earth. And if any one would harm them, fire pours out from their mouth and consumes their foes; if any one would harm them, thus he is doomed to be killed. They have power to shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to smite the earth with every plague, as often as they desire. And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends from the bottomless pit will make war upon them and conquer them and kill them, and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which is allegorically called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified. For three days and a half men from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb, and those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to those who dwell on the earth. But after the three and a half days a breath of life from God entered them, and they stood up on their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up hither!" And in the sight of their foes they went up to heaven in a cloud. -- Revelation 11: 4 - 12
